The Best Twin Baby Carriers of 2024
Here are our favorite carriers for twins.
TwinGo Original Baby Carrier
Best for Longevity
Shopping for items for twins is going to be costly, so you will probably want to make sure you choose a carrier that is built to last from birth to toddlerhood.
This carrier combines two products and has a maximum supporting weight of 70 pounds when used in a tandem position. When separated for use as a single baby carrier, it will support babies weighing up to 45 pounds. Many 5-year-olds weigh less than 45 pounds, so this gives you a lot of time to outgrow the carrier.
It is easy to separate this product into two single carriers, meaning it’s simple to share the load (quite literally) with another family member or friend.
The straps and waistband are reinforced and adjustable, so switching between users is easy if you need a break. The recommended height bracket is from 4 feet 11 inches to 6 feet 5 inches, making it perfect for petite and tall users too.
The extra lumbar support will help keep you comfortable. And despite its super strength, the straps are padded, and the fabric is soft for your comfort.
The TwinGo grows with your babies with the help of the strong, adjustable straps.
This carrier has been classified as “hip-healthy” by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute, making it safe for your babies’ growing joints. You will be comfortable, and your babies will be safely secure, giving you peace of mind that you won’t be causing them any hip or back problems.
It lets your babies have a view of the world from your perspective. One baby can nap on your front, while the other can take in their surroundings at your level on your back.
Pros
- Comes with extra straps.
- Ideal for older babies and toddlers.
- Available in two colors.
- Additional large pockets for your use.
- Hoods to cover babies from the elements or for shade during a snooze.
Cons
- Not for use with babies weighing under 7 pounds.
- You’ll need to purchase infant inserts separately for smaller babies.
- The product itself weighs over four pounds.

Boba Wrap Baby Carrier
Best Machine Washable Twin Carrier
Keep your twins close with this Boba wrap carrier. Although it was initially designed for one baby, many happy parents use it for their twins. Your twins will be nice and snug when they’re both in this. Your babies will sit on either side of your chest, all snuggled together. Of course, it will take a bit of getting used to, and if you don’t have any help to get them in and out, it can be a bit of a challenge!
Your little ones will love the comfort of this carrier all year round. It’s stretchy and breathable but still warm and comforting. The Boba Wrap comes in dozens of color and print options, too, so you can find one (or several) to match your wardrobe! Between uses, wash and machine dry, following the care label instructions.
If you’re planning on carrying one baby at a time, then this wrap is a must-have. There is only one way to wrap your baby in it, taking away the guesswork. When you follow the instructions, you create an ergonomic carrier that helps with healthy hip development.
The Boba Wrap is suitable for babies between 7 and 35 pounds. Of course, if using it with twins, the combined weight shouldn’t exceed 35 pounds.
Pros
- Suitable for one or two babies.
- Dozens of color options.
- Breathable, machine-washable fabric.
- Helps with healthy hip development.
Cons
- Challenge to fit two babies in without help.
- It’s a bit too hot in warmer climates.

Personal Perspective
Weego Twin Carrier
Best Newborn Carrier for Twins
This adorable carrier is suitable from birth onward to keep your tiny twins up close to you and each other.
With a weight guide from 4 pounds, it is ideal for premature babies too. The carrier keeps them safe and snug at your chest, making them feel like they are still in the womb.
You can continue to use the sling until your babies’ combined weight is around 33 pounds. So, if you aren’t planning on carrying them beyond six months, this carrier is a great option.
The design is pretty simple, with two front pouches and two adjustable straps that clip at the back. The pouches may look a little like insulated bottle bags, but they allow for your babies’ correct posture and movement.
One attribute I adore about this carrier is that you can remove the carrier with babies still inside! This is great if you need a break (as all moms sometimes do). You can remove the carrier by gently leaning over a soft surface like your bed or couch until your babies’ weight rests on it. Then unclip the straps on your back. This allows for minimal disturbance to your babies.
You can also remove it while holding your babies to your chest with one arm (or two if someone else unfastens the straps) and pass it to your partner, who can then slip it on easily and loosen or tighten the straps to fit.
The ease of use, gorgeous color options, and sturdy design might make the Weego Twin Carrier the winner for you.
I have seen this carrier in action many times, and the babies looked comfortable and stayed snug and asleep even at a loud play place! It was amazing.

TwinTrexx 2 Baby Carrier
Best Multiway Carrier for Twins
If you want to use your carrier in more than one way, this carrier has got you covered. You have the choice of wearing your babies forward-facing, inward-facing, or on your hips. You can tandem carry your twins or use it with one baby at a time.
This carrier isn’t as aesthetically pleasing as some of the others, and it appears a little simplistic, but it does the job well.
It can hold a combined weight of 50 pounds. Go, muscle momma!
The shoulder straps are padded to help minimize any pressure when carrying heavier babies. The babies’ pouches are also padded for their comfort.
However, there is no padded waistband for support, so your babies’ weight is mainly spread across your shoulders and upper back. Thin straps with clips secure the two carriers together, so they won’t shift around while in use.
The shoulder straps are adjustable and attach securely with buckles.
The straps and clips also allow for simple removal. Their adjustable ties mean your partner, sister, cousin, or whoever you choose can easily use the carrier too. Hallelujah! Hands-free time and the excuse to pass the babies to someone else to give your back a break.
As for the comfort of your little wrigglers, the seat section is snug and wide, allowing for optimal tushy positioning.
Pros
- Can separate into one carrier per baby/person — sharing is caring!
- Lightweight materials.
- You can wear it in five different positions.
Cons
- When used as a double carrier, it can be complicated to figure out where all the buckles clip together.
- A padded waistband would make it more comfortable.

Malishastik Twin Baby Carrier
Best Budget Carrier for Twins
This ring sling carrier is simple and functional. It contains two slings that join with one central set of rings. And it’s easy on the budget — unlike many essentials for twins.
You can hold your babies in an ergonomic position with one leg to either side of your hips. When correctly positioned, your babies will sit comfortably on the arches of your pelvis.
Unfortunately, this sling doesn’t allow you to hold your babies in any other position, and holding your babies on your hips can make getting through doors a little tricky. However, the position is healthy for your babies’ hip development, which is paramount.
The fabric is a 50/50 cotton-linen blend, making it soft, comfortable, and breathable.
The carrier is suitable for newborn use and can carry up to 60 pounds combined weight.
The solid gray color complements any outfit and helps conceal dirt prior to washing. (Who knew little babies could be so messy?!)
Pros
- Comes with instructions.
- Won’t break your budget.
- Moms and babies love the simplistic style and comfort of the sling style.
Cons
- Doesn’t separate into two units, as many other twin slings do.
- There is no head support for the babies.
- It has a steep learning curve and may require some assistance to use at first.

How to Choose the Best Twin Carrier
There are many benefits to wearing your babies, from bonding to helping relieve colic to freeing your hands for other tasks.
Imagine getting to cook dinner without having to try to settle your little ones? No more doing a Mrs. Doubtfire, letting pans boil over and burning everything to a crisp!
With a baby carrier, you can fit in places you can’t fit with a twin stroller, like trying to get through the airport in a hurry when the elevator queue is as long as the runway. And with a fabric carrier, you won’t have to haul a big double stroller in and out of your vehicle.
When you first start looking for a twin sling, you’ll be overwhelmed by the different shapes, sizes, materials, and brands available.
